Family of Mekenna Reiley Seeks Justice

We have worked with Mekenna Reiley's family and friends for nearly a year. While there has been progress in uncovering what happened to her, there's still a long way to go. Unfortunately, due to the Medical Examiner ruling her death an accidental drowning, the Lane County Sheriff's Department will not do any further investigation, even on findings and evidence that suggest foul play. A private autopsy determined Mekenna did not drown, but the medical examiner on her case still refuses to reevaluate their initial findings.

What does this mean? Well, so far it's meant that any investigation and testing has had to come out of pocket for Mekenna's family. We're asking for the public's help, either with donations or public pressure to help get Mekenna Reiley the justice she deserves.
